BladesThe OptiCop family of cPCI blades is designed for real-time network access, monitoring, inspection, and surveillance applications in WAN and/or LAN networks. The extensive use of programmable logic allows for unprecedented function density in a single cPCI board that far exceeds the performance of several traditional products combined together. OptiCop blades may be interconnected with other OptiCop blades and/or with several optional daughter-boards for large, scalable configurations that provide support for a wide range of interfaces and traffic types.

The OptiCop 10G Blade has up to 4 XFP ports supporting OC192 and/or 10GigE and up to 4 SFP ports supporting a mix of OC3/STM-1 to OC48/STM-16 and 1GigE. It also provides support for optical T-Carrier/E-Carrier tributaries from DS3/E3 down to fractional DS1/E1s.
