Current Openings (Regional Technical Sales Representative)


This individual is responsible for delivering regional sales objectives by prioritizing and managing both direct and partner efforts in a pre and post sales capacity to achieve revenue goals in government, service provider, and enterprise markets. The Regional Technical Sales Representative will manage all aspects of the customer engagement and facilitate internal cross-functional support of both current accounts as well as new developing business opportunities.

This individual is responsible for creating content, attending and delivering end user presentations and handle live product demonstrations.    This role requires moderate amount of travel in support of these activities.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with and enables overall business strategy.
  • Identify and develop strategic accounts that leverage resources across the business to achieve regional growth objectives.
  • Direct systems integrators, resellers, and OEM partners to achieve sales goals.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Facilitate pre and post sales technical and integration/application support to customers.
  • Design and recommend sales and marketing programs that enable short and long-term sales strategies to expand customer base, increase market share and exploit new products.
  • Provide input to product management that helps define and quantify new applications and markets along with new product requirements and definition.
  • Develop, maintain and update end user presentation materials:
    • PowerPoint slideware
    • App Notes
    • Tech Notes
  • Create customer proposals and RFI/RFP/RFQ including quotations, form, fit and function compatibility matrix, etc.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Technical degree in related field and at least 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and service and position them against competitive offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of commonly used customer sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude and strong engagement skills with both customers and peers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
  • Displays high moral and business code of conduct.
